As an IT engineer, he first took an interest in photography at the age of 20.
For more than 30 years, he has been recognised for his colour and black and white prints in various areas (events, sports, still life).
Every year, he follows the various regattas of the old rigs between Monaco and St Tropez where he has created several posters. He loves playing with shadows, light, the shapes of ships and crews in action, to capture the sublime.
Between exhibitions and appearances in various magazines, he always has a camera on him to capture everyday moments.
“Whether photographer or videographer, you absolutely must have high capacity, extremely reliable media to allow you, particularly when reporting, to capture the present moment”
“I usually work with the best Pro cards available in the market. Since the start I have been a NIKON man. Working with a D800, a D3s, a D5300 and a GOPRO 3 Black Edition as well as a CANON G1X compact that I always take with me.
Having had the opportunity to acquire Toshiba cards, I was pleasantly surprised by their write speed, flexibility of working and reliability.
The CompactFlash (64 GB) or SD (32 GB) cards from the EXCERIA PRO range effortlessly store large files, which allows me to concentrate on capturing the images. Furthermore, for video recording, in combination with the D800, film production has become a real pleasure.
I'm looking forward to shooting in 4K with these cards!!!
For the CANON G1X, I have chosen a 16 GB Class 10 FlashAir card. This card allows, through the FLASHAIR program installed on an Iphone 5S, for photos to be recovered from the camera to send them directly via the INTERNET, so they can be posted on social networks in real time.
In addition, I am going to acquire a FUJI-FILM X-T1, a camera with 100% support for the UHS-II interface. Before making my decision, I tested it with a Type 2 EXCERIA UHS card. To my delight, this combination provides for really comfortable working.
What more can anyone ask!!!”
